  • March 6 – “Do We Truly Believe in Pluralism and Diversity? Faith-Based Organizations’ Religious Freedom Rights” – Stephen Monsma Lecture at Baylor University. 3:30 in Kayser Auditorium. <MORE>
  • March 7 – Poverty Presentation– Please join us to hear Ashley Thornton give an update on what she has learned working on the City Council appointed Poverty Solutions Steering Committee. Lake Shore Baptist Church, 5801 Bishop Drive, Waco. (Right next door to Mountainview elementary) Dinner is served from 5:15 – 6:00 for $6.00. The seminar will begin at 6:20.   • March 27 - Waco Community Race Relations Coalition (CRRC) film screening: Shadows of the Lynching Tree - This film won Best Documentary at the Dallas Black Film Festival in 2011. It will be shown Tuesday, March 27th, 7-9pm at the Kayser Auditorium in the Hankamer School of Business on the Baylor campus. It is co-sponsored by the Community Race Relations Coalition, Baylor’s Academy for Leader Development, Baylor Chapter of the NAACC and Baylor’s Zeta Phi Beta Sorority.
